My Trip to Kuching
Hi.. Here to blog again.. Finally blogging again after almost a month..
My flight just landed about 5 hrs ago.. Haha.. i went to kuching from last fri and just came back earlier at noon.. I really love the trip alot.. I've experience alot of things that really make me looking forward to the nxt trip..
Well, during this trip, we went in a big grp.. Uncle Henry, Auntie Angie, Isaac, Danielle, Uncle nash, Auntie harnit, saheb, malika, uncle jimmy, auntie catherine, mum, bro and myself was there.. big grp huh.. lolx
As usual, uncle henry was the tour head aka CO (commanding officer).. I tried alot of different food there and sarawak food is really delicous.. I ate food like their roti canai (known as prata in s'pore), sarawak laksa, drank sarawak orange juice and many more..
On the 1st day, didnt do alot.. just that landed in kuching in MI 378 (silkair) ard 8 plus at night.. the airport there was really nice.. Very Clean as well.. i give it 7/10.. Uncle Henry was there with his friend from kuching uncle lim to pick us (mum, bro, isaac and me) up.. the rest was already at a restaurant eating.. After that, we went to Crowne Plaza Hotel and and stayed there for the night.. around 12 midnight, uncle henry took me, danielle, isaac and my bro to the holiday inn hotel there to have supper.. i tried their famous roti canai and their sarawak laksa.. very nice.. not spicy at all unlike's spore's lakse.. btw, kuching was really very crowded as the national day of malaysia was celebrated there..
The second day, gotta wake up early.. We transfered to another hotel.. To Damai Beach resort.. Took an hour ride from crowne plaza to damai.. I tell u damai is so nice.. it faces the south china sea and i even get to get a dip into it.. WOO HOO!!! i even took pictures of it.. The 1st day what we did was just swimming in the pool there and played by the beach.. The kiddos (me, isaac, danielle, malika, saheb and my bro) took a stroll by the beach to find crabs and hermit crabs by the beach.. we even buried one another in the sand.. too bad didnt took any pics of it.. At night, went out to have dinner as usual at at seafood restaurant.. lolx.. eat all the good stuff.. lolx.. sure put on alot of weight..
The 3rd day.. i woke up super early.. woke up at ard 6.45am.. i went joggin around the hotel area.. ran ard 5 laps.. but it's very long.. there are slopes that are super steep.. i went ard exploring the area.. and i saw smth that look very grand.. it was no ordinary hotel room.. it was the suite of the sultan of brunei.. lol.. ate breakfast.. after breakfast.. we went to visit a culture centre.. took alot of pics also.. there is a dance preformance on sarawak's culture and we get to visit some kind of houses that they stay at.. will show u all later.. after coming back, the kiddos went jet skiiing with uncle henry.. DO YOU BELIEVE IT!!!!!!! JET SKIING!!!!!! Woo hoo!!!!!! i wanna do it again if i can.. after that, swim for a while.. me, bro, danielle and isaac played a game in the water which was very fun.. but very taxing.. we gotta jump from the water and air time in the air and grab the ball and throw it across the line and prevent ur opponent from being able to catch.. it was very taxing.. i was in the deeper part of the pool.. haix.. so really trained my stomach muscle.. lolx.. after that, we went to play tennis.. tennis was really unlike badminton.. it needs more control.. lolx.. but i still enjoyed myself.. after all that, we as usual again, went to a SEAFOOD RESTAURANT again..
The 4th day, didnt do much at damai.. just ate breakfast, pack up and den took the van back to crowne plaza.. when we reach crowne plaza, the hotel manager was at the glass door awaiting our arrival.. instead of the bell boy opening the door for us, he personally open the van door for us and guess what he said to uncle henry.. he said "weclome back mr heng".. i was like stunned.. uncle henry is such a toa pai.. the manager even helped the bell boy to move our luggage.. we checked in again and rest for a while.. ard 15mins later, the all the guys went shopping at parkson grand.. a shopping centre.. i bought some stuff too.. 2 tee shirts, one pair of casual shoes and a pair for formal shoes.. all very cheap.. gd deal also.. all the ladies went to sarawak plaza to do some medicure and do treatment to their hair.. (aiyoh.. so vain lor).. After that, came back.. went for dinner at a SEAFOOD RESTAURANT..
On the final day.. didnt do much.. have to wake up at 7am.. coz flight was as 10am and have to leave the hotel by 8 am.. we took some pics in the airport and of the airport.. took a plane back.. serve lousy food again.. took a pic of it also.. lolx.. anyway.. blog till here.. will put show you the pics soon..
